The 2016 ACFE Fraud Conference Canada was held in Montreal, QC on September 11-14. More than 300 attendees from eight different countries made this the largest ACFE event that has taken place in Canada. I would like to thank the Montreal chapter for their tireless efforts in marketing the conference, as well as the Canadian chapters that promoted it at their local events.
We were also able to organize a Chapter Leaders Networking Reception where more than 20 chapter leaders discussed challenges their chapters are facing. It was a good opportunity for us to meet each other, provide feedback, offer suggestions and discuss upcoming initiatives. I hope to organize more networking receptions at our other conferences when possible.
Thanks again for all your hard work making the conference so successful.
Attendees at this year's event also received an exclusive first look at the 2016 Report to the Nations: Canadian Edition. The latest regional report highlights fraud trends and statistics specific to Canada.
If you were unable to attend or you missed a session, online coverage gives you a glimpse into the education that more than 300 anti-fraud professionals experienced in Montreal.
