ACFE Chapter Leaders Meeting

The 33rd Annual ACFE Global Fraud Conference will take place both in-person and online, June 19–24. Each year during the conference, we hold a chapter leaders meeting to discuss the challenges that chapters face daily and exchange solutions to those challenges.

Two weeks before the conference kicks off, this year’s meeting will take place virtually, on June 6 – 7, from 10:00 to 11:50 a.m. (CT) each day. Like last year, this year’s meeting is open to all chapter leaders, so I encourage all leaders to attend. It will be a great time to learn from and network with other chapter leaders from around the world.

The schedule is below (all times are Central Daylight Time / GMT-5):

Monday, June 6:
• 10:00 a.m. to 10:50 a.m. – Administration Responsibilities
• 10:50 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. – Break
• 11:00 a.m. to 11:50 a.m. – Administration Responsibilities (cont.)

Tuesday, June 7:
• 10:00 a.m. to 10:50 a.m. – Chapter Events
• 10:50 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. – Break
• 11:00 a.m. to 11:50 a.m. – Chapter Events (cont.)

On Monday, June 6, the presentation will be led by South Florida Chapter President Matt Molchany and Greater Boston Area Chapter Vice President, Michael McCall. They will be discussing a variety of important issues beginning with the resources available on the Chapter Administration site. They will also discuss membership growth, board succession, chapter goals/expectations, and more.

On Tuesday, June 7, the presentation will be led by New York Chapter President Dora Gomez and UK Chapter President Tim Harvey. Since COVID-19 changed the way organizations offer events, we believe it is important to continue our discussion on all things event-related. They will discuss in-person, virtual and hybrid events. We will also be discussing solutions to locating speakers and hearing about other unique events that chapters are organizing.
