Celebrating the 2026 ACFE Chapter of the Year Award Winners

The ACFE is proud to recognize two outstanding chapters as the recipients of the 2026 Chapter of the Year Awards. Selected by the Chapter Leaders Committee, these awards honor chapters that have demonstrated exceptional commitment to member engagement, professional development, community outreach and the advancement of the anti-fraud profession.

The ACFE Greater Toronto Area Chapter has been named the 2026 Chapter of the Year (Large Market). With 35 years of service to anti-fraud professionals across Central and Southwestern Ontario, the chapter continues to set a high standard for member value and engagement. In 2025 alone, the chapter achieved 15% membership growth, delivered more than 27 hours of live trainings and expanded its on-demand learning catalog to 58 courses. The chapter also hosted the 2025 ACFE Fraud Conference Canada, bringing together nearly 300 in-person and virtual attendees. Through strong partnerships with law enforcement agencies, professional associations and fellow ACFE chapters, the Greater Toronto Area Chapter has successfully enhanced the visibility of the ACFE and the CFE credential throughout the region.

The ACFE Taiwan Chapter has been named the 2026 Chapter of the Year (Small Market), becoming the first ACFE chapter in the Asia-Pacific region to receive this recognition. Since its formation in 2014, the chapter has built a vibrant and engaged community through collaboration with government agencies, businesses, academic institutions and fellow chapters. The chapter promotes ongoing member interaction, contributes thought leadership on fraud prevention and corporate governance and has played an active role in supporting Taiwan’s implementation of the United Nations Convention Against Corruption through the submission of national review reports and policy recommendations.

Both chapters exemplify the innovation, leadership and dedication that strengthen the ACFE's global network. Congratulations to the volunteers and leaders whose efforts made these achievements possible, and thank you for your continued commitment to supporting anti-fraud professionals around the world.
