There's Still Time to Donate to the ACFE Foundation

One of our most important duties as ACFE members is to support the next generation of fraud fighters. The ACFE Foundation Scholarship Fund depends on voluntary contributions from our members, and we encourage your chapter to make a donation to this worthy cause.

The ACFE challenges our chapters to donate to the ACFE Foundation, which helps provide scholarships to future anti-fraud professionals. In exchange for making a donation, ACFE chapters can receive merchandise and books, prep courses, and even conference registrations.

The ACFE Foundation awards scholarships to students ranging from $1,000 - $10,000 per student, with a total of $53,000 awarded each year. In 2018, we have increased that total amount to $55,000.

There are prize packages awarded to chapters for meeting the following levels of donations:

  • Houston Area Chapter - $12,000

  • Central Ohio Chapter - $10,500

  • Austin Area Chapter - $5,000

  • Las Vegas Chapter - $2,925 (They raised an additional $4,575 at the Charity Poker Tournament during the ACFE Global Fraud Conference)

  • Chicago Area Chapter - $2,000

  • Long Island Chapter - $1,000

  • Lansing Chapter - $1,000

  • Pacific NW Chapter - $300

Since we began the Scholarship Challenge, every year we have surpassed the previous year’s total and hopefully we can continue this trend in 2018. Last year we raised $42,000, so we don’t have far to go.
