2025 Chapters Year in Review
/ACFE chapters around the world had an outstanding year in 2025, marked by increased engagement, expanded training opportunities, and meaningful contributions to the anti fraud profession. With chapters continuing to adapt to evolving member needs, 2025 proved to be one of the most impactful years in recent memory.
Global Growth and Stronger Leadership
In 2025, the ACFE welcomed one new chapter, the Thailand Chapter #256, bringing the total number of active chapters to 200 across 93 countries. While two chapters dissolved, the ACFE worked closely with members around the world to reenergize struggling chapters and identify new leaders to carry them forward.
Many chapters also used 2025 as a year to strengthen internal governance structures, refreshing leadership teams and ensuring boards were prepared for long term success.
Chapter Leaders Summit
Nearly 60 chapter leaders attended the 2025 Chapter Leaders’ Summit in Nashville, held alongside the 36th Annual ACFE Global Fraud Conference. The summit offered valuable opportunities for chapters to exchange best practices, explore strategies for membership growth, and collaborate on marketing initiatives. We look forward to bringing chapter leaders together again in Boston during the 37th Annual Global Fraud Conference.
Supporting the ACFE Foundation
Chapters continued to demonstrate their commitment to the ACFE Foundation by participating in our 2025 Chapter Foundation Challenge. By the end of 2025, 36 chapters donated more than $105,000. The Dallas Area Chapter donated $15,000 and the Houston Area , New York and Twin Cities Chapters each donated $10,000. The Middle Tennessee Chapter also hosted a successful fundraising concert featuring the Marshall Tucker Band, raising over $20,000 for the Foundation.
Strong Participation in International Fraud Awareness Week
Chapter involvement in International Fraud Awareness Week reached a new milestone, with more than 80 chapters participating—marking the fourth straight year of growth. Chapters around the world hosted creative events, workshops, and awareness activities, supported by a video message from ACFE Vice President of Membership Ross Pry.
Successful Events and Creative Engagement
Across the globe, chapters delivered high-quality programming and collaborative events. Some of the accomplishments include:
The Alabama Chapter held its 18th Annual Virtual Fraud Seminar with nearly 200 participants per day, awarding four CFE Exam Prep Courses to aspiring CFEs.
The Albany Chapter partnered with the IIA and AGA to host a two-day hybrid anti-fraud conference with nearly 300 attendees.
The Bahamas Chapter relaunched its flagship Fraud & Ethics Seminar after a two-year hiatus, drawing 150+ participants.
The Central Florida Chapter reformed its board and held its first event in years, drawing more than 40 attendees.
The Central Italy Chapter held a well-attended event in Rome featuring prominent law enforcement and professional organizations.
The Puerto Rico Chapter hosted a full-day Fraud Awareness Week event, proudly showcasing their chapter branding with customized shirts and caps.
The Philadelphia Area Chapter engaged university students through presentations on fraud examination careers.
The Vancouver Chapter returned with its first full-day in-person event, doubling its expected attendance.
Growing Global Collaboration
The ACFE advanced several strategic partnerships in 2025, including strengthened relationships with the IIA and continued collaboration with ACCA. Chapters benefited from shared programs, joint events, and resource exchanges that expanded their professional networks and broadened their reach.
A significant milestone was the formal recognition of the ACFE Arab Chapters Committee, designed to unify regional efforts, promote ethical standards, and advance anti-fraud guidance across the Middle East and North Africa.
Looking Ahead to 2026
ACFE chapters are well-positioned for another exceptional year. We look forward to seeing chapters continue to innovate, expand their impact, and strengthen the global community of fraud fighters. The accomplishments ahead in 2026 promise to be even more inspiring as chapters build on this foundation of collaboration, leadership, and shared purpose.
